The UAE's private sector employees will have holidays on  December 2 and 3 to mark the country's Martyr's Day and the 44th UAE National Day.

The National Day is on December 2.

A circular in this regard has been issued by Labour Minister Saqr bin Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, said a Wam report.

The announcement came following the orders of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to mark November 30th of each year as the Martyr’s Day in honour and recognition of the sacrifices made by UAE martyrs to restore peace in Yemen.
