Regional bloc plan to tackle conflicts

MANAMA, November 2, 2015

A group of four regional powers comprising Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt and Turkey should be formed to tackle conflicts and prevent their spillover, proposed a senior British politician, a report said.

The regional bloc, named The P4 countries, could even come up with solutions for the crises in Iraq and Syria, according to Crispin Blunt who is the UK’s Foreign Affairs Select Committee chairman, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
