Public urged to be alert after ma’atam shootings in Bahrain
MANAMA, October 20, 2015
Members of the public are being urged to call the police immediately if they notice any suspicious activity following alleged shootings at two ma’atams (Shi’ite community halls) in Bahrain. Work started yesterday (October 19) to install CCTV cameras near Bahrain’s ma’atams and routes followed by processions, which are organised as part of Ashoora activities, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
