Call to speed up trafficking cases in Bahrain

MANAMA, October 15, 2015

A three-month deadline for human trafficking trials in Bahrain has been proposed by unionists and welfare activists. The idea was tabled to fast-track court cases and reduce the strain on trafficking victims, many of whom choose to leave the country long before verdicts are delivered, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
