RAK free trade zone unveils new-look website

RAS AL KHAIMAH, September 1, 2014

Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) has launched a substantially upgraded website with interactive features that make it easier than ever for clients to set up profitable businesses in the free zone.

One of the fastest-growing free trade zones in the UAE, the RAK FTZ has also launched Kaytoob, an e-newsletter that provides up-to-date information about its award-winning services, top-notch facilities, client success stories, and more.

“RAK FTZ’s new website and e-newsletter provide interactive windows on the free zone that make it easier than ever to set up profitable companies here,” remarked its CEO Peter Fort.

"Together, the new website and newsletter show clearly why more than 7,500 clients are taking advantage of the cost-effective, business-friendly services and world-class facilities that we have to offer," he said.

The website has been completely redesigned to provide easier navigation, a cleaner interface, enhanced search engine optimisation, better business set-up content, and a stronger focus on guiding investors to conveniently and easily set up businesses in RAK FTZ.

The site also allows users to chat live with a customer service representative who will answer any questions – either on their computer or on a mobile phone, said Fort.

Kaytoob delivers up-to-date information about RAK FTZ’s award-winning services and recent developments.

Kaytoob, named after the ancient Arabic scribe who helped people share their messages in writing and document their experiences long before Facebook and Twitter were invented – also highlights RAK FTZ clients’ success stories.

Kaytoob also includes testimonials from clients about why they chose to register with RAK FTZ, and how they have benefitted from operating inside the free zone.

The quarterly e-newsletter also contains updates on RAK FTZ inbound delegations, outbound marketing initiatives, latest services launched, announcements, and updates on the most recent projects and developments in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK).

The website will soon roll out a business directory, an online suppliers registration, a career portal and a portal for the Mazeed Service Desk, which provides business set-up services such as insurance, advertising, recruitment, training and event management.-TradeArabia News Service
