Boston Consulting expands ME team

Dubai, June 17, 2014

The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a global management consulting firm, is set to further expand in the Middle East with key appointments in priority areas.

Effective immediately, Peter Vayanos, Dr Leila Hoteit and Cristiano Rizzi will each take on the role of partner & managing director for the financial services, public sector and energy practices, respectively, said a statement.

In parallel, Peter Jenkins will serve as the executive director of financial services.

The new appointments come as the firm enters its next phase of development in the Middle East – one that places renewed and increased emphasis on high-demand, fast-growing industries, it said.

“We are delighted to welcome such an accomplished and talented set of industry leaders to our team,” said Rich Lesser, president and CEO of BCG. “The Middle East is a complex market full of challenges and opportunity.  Their vast experience and industry acumen will greatly benefit our clients in this part of the world.”

Joerg Hildebrandt, senior partner and managing director of BCG Middle East, echoed that statement, adding: "Broadening and strengthening our leadership team is essential when tapping into strategic growth areas in the Middle East's ever – evolving consulting sector. As the region's emerging economies mature, so too does BCG with industry analysis that is based upon years of experience, which Peter Vayanos, Peter Jenkins, Dr Leila and Cristiano all bring to our senior team. It is testament to the strength and commitment that BCG has for the Middle East." - TradeArabia News Service
