Emirates named ‘official carrier’ for key summit

Dubai, January 19, 2014

Dubai-based Emirates airline has been named the official carrier for The Government Summit to be held in Dubai next month.

The second Government Summit, which will run from February 10 to 12, will provide a platform for exchanging knowledge and experience with three themes shaping the high-level dialogue and proceedings for ‘Leading Government Service.’

The themes comprise citizen happiness, lessons from the private sector, and the future of government services.

The summit will bring together more than 3,500 of government and business leaders, senior government officials, and subject matter experts to collaborate on new and innovative ways to make governments even more responsive and accessible to the people they serve.

It will include sharing of best practices with their counterparts from around the world, and discussing sector-specific approaches that lead to the highest possible levels of customer experience, amid the need for fresh thinking and a new and different way of doing government business.

Sir Tim Clark, president, said: “As an airline that gives the highest priority to standards of service to our customers, it is fitting that we should support a summit of this nature. We connect people, thinking and ideas in many different ways every day.” - TradeArabia News Service
