Book on Bahrain's banks launched

Manama, March 28, 2010

Regional multi-media company Primedia International has released the 20th anniversary edition of Banks in Bahrain.

The 20th edition heralds not only two decades of committed service to the kingdom's financial industry, but also a re-birth of the publication itself.

Banks in Bahrain now boasts a new look and even more value-added features.

While the directory's concept remains the same, Banks in Bahrain now includes a who's who of the banking sector, expert insights, bank listing by type (ie commercial, investment, etc.), classified listings, and more.

'We would like to thank our many loyal customers for their continued patronage over the years. It is through their support that this long-standing directory has been so successful,' said chief executive John McIsaac.

Since 1990 Banks in Bahrain has been a key information source for local, regional and finance professionals.

'Our goal is not only to take Banks in Bahrain forward, but to give it even more meaning and value in the eyes of our advertisers and users. As a Bahraini company and a Bahraini publication, we are proud to be presenting the 20th anniversary edition of Banks in Bahrain,' Primedia director Redha Ameeri said.

An essential publication for Bahrain's bankers, Banks in Bahrain is also available at Jashanmal's Bookstores or directly through Primedia.

Primedia International is the region's pioneer of directory publishing, and has remained the market leader since its inception.

The company produces a range of publications including the Bahrain Telephone Directory with Yellow Pages, The Gulf Directory, Bahrain Fax, e-mail and Website Directory.

It will soon launch Gulf Health and Medical, Oman Health and Medical and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Directory.

Primedia enjoys partnerships with Batelco, Q-Tel, the FGCC Chambers, the Dubai Chambers and the Qatar Chambers.-TradeArabia News Service
