Another record for TradeArabia

Award-winning business news and trade information portal of Bahrain-based Al Hilal Group, TradeArabia.com, has registered yet another record in visitor numbers.

Total visitor numbers across the portal's network reached 5.9 million last month, up from 5.6 million in October. All network sites registered increased visitor numbers for last month compared with the previous month, with Arabic language Akhbar Al Khaleej leading the way with a 54 per cent jump month-on-month to more than 400,000 visitors.

Average unique visits per day to TradeArabia.com was 72,400 against 62,300 in October. Unique visitors to the site surged from 700,000 in November last year to 1.3 million last month while total page views have jumped from 12 million in November last year to 15.5 million last month.

The most visited network sites, apart from TradeArabia.com, last month were www.gulfweekly.com (591,000 visits), www.gulf-daily-news.com (585,000 visits) and www.gulfindustryonline.com (581,000 visits).

Total unique visitors to the network topped 2.2 million, up from 1.9 million in October, while average page views per day rose to 1.4 million from 1.3 million. Meanwhile, the average visits per day last month was 197,000, up from 182,300 the previous month.

'Latest network statistics confirm that TradeArabia.com is the business portal of choice among industry professionals in the Gulf,' said Al Hilal Group managing director Ronnie Middleton.

'Online media is witnessing exponential growth regionally and TradeArabia is positioned at the forefront of the market.' TradeArabia.com Network and TradeArabia Web Services online services director Rana Lababidi said Trade Arabia delivers timely business intelligence and value-added online products.

'Sustained growth in visitor numbers, in particular unique visitors and page views, reflects the value of our original content and online marketing strategies,' she said.

'To ensure that the network continues to generate traffic and enhance services, we will look into revamping several of our sites and adding additional interactive services and functionalities.
