Five Bahrain and UAE entrepreneurs pitch in Beban Season 2

Episode one of Beban, an entrepreneurship-themed reality show produced by Hope Ventures, hosted five entrepreneurs from Bahrain and UAE.
They are Steel Masters, manufacturers of barbecue equipment co-founded by Mahdi Taheri and Hussain Yousif, The Collector, a company specializing in implementing high-end and smart safe divisions at affordable prices co-founded by Mohammed Nihad and Nihad Issa, Sakani, a real estate application that allows customers to find property founded by Ali Sarhan, Frozen Nutrition, a platform that offers fresh frozen fruits and detox cubes that are preservatives and sugar-free founded by Mohammed Al-Aradi, and iTadweer, a cloud-based platform that regulates manual recycling processes founded by Jaffar Al-Hamad.
These five businesses pitched before a panel of investors that was composed of Roaya Saleh, Founder of Villa Mamas Restaurants, Mohamed Al Aali, Managing Director of the United Enterprises Group of Companies, Suhail Algosaibi, angel investor, and was moderated by Aymen bin Tawfiq Almoayed, Chairman of Hope Fund, who was also representing Hope Ventures’ investments.
Beban premiered the first episode of its highly anticipated second season on January 4, 2023.
Pitching businesses
Beban season 2, powered by Bahrain’s Oil and Gas Company (nogaholding), was shot in Al Areen Palace and Spa, and revolves around entrepreneurs pitching their businesses before a panel of regional investors for investment and strategic business opportunities.
The show aims to shed light on promising entrepreneurs and provide them the opportunity to pitch to a panel of strategic investors for potential investment.

Growing business
Entrepreneur Mohammed Nihad, participating from the UAE, commented on the experience of being on Beban: “Our participation in Beban 2 comes as part of our aspiration to grow our business and expand it further beyond the borders of the UAE. Before shooting our episode, we underwent a training bootcamp that helped further refine our business. We greatly benefited from the investor panel, and we look forward to everyone in the region seeing our episode.”
