OMNES Media hires Sarb as strategy chief

UAE-based OMNES Media, one of the leading state-of-the-art digital media and communications platforms in the region that delivers a wide spectrum of multi-channel media services, has appointed Lucian Sârb its new Chief Strategy Officer to enhance the company’s business and presence in the global digital media market.
 
Sârb was Chief Content Officer and a board member of Euronews. For 10 years, Lucian had been devising the editorial strategy for one of the most viewed global news broadcasters in Europe, managing a newsroom with more than 500 journalists from 35 different countries. 
 
Before joining Euronews, Sârb, had served as Project Manager and Editorial Director of one of the first business news channels in Eastern Europe.
 
Welcoming Sârb  Co-Founder & CEO Fahed Aldeeb said: “Today, the content creation landscape is a dynamic and evolving one. The biggest challenge is to keep up and adapt to the changes. Following his studies in Communication and International Relations and Politics, Sârb joined journalism and became a news correspondent. His assignments took him around the world, including the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
 
“I will use my international experience to develop OMNES Media on the global scale. We are ready to play on the international advertising market, with new initiatives and surprising projects and make our slice of revenue bigger this year,” he said.
