Forbes to host start-ups at innovators meet

Forbes Middle East is preparing to host the region’s most active and game-changing start-ups and investors under one roof at its ‘Forbes Middle East Innovators’ eventin Dubai, UAE.

Khuloud Al Omian, editor-in-chief, Forbes Middle East said: “The ever-growing start-up ecosystem in the region has created an environment for innovation, contributing greatly to the economy. We have seen many high-value deals in start-ups helping them grow even stronger. As a result, investors are showing confidence in the ecosystem by throwing their support behind start-ups.”

Forbes Middle East’s latest rankings will be revealed at the event in its October issue. 100 start-ups in the Arab World comprises those start-ups that have championed the most innovative ideas and received the most external funding in the last year.

50 start-ups to Watch are those who have not yet received big-ticket funding but are looking promising for the future. And the 50 Most Active Investors ranking recognizes the backers spotting the entrepreneurial talent and helping these businesses thrive through funding.
