DUBAI, November 23, 2016
Strikers Dance, a Dubai-based dance institute will host a ‘choreographer dance challenge’ for the first time in the UAE next month.
The dance extravaganza will take place on December 10, 6pm onwards at the New World Private School auditorium located at Al Twar in Dubai. The event will be judged by popular Bollywood choreographer and reality TV judge Terrence Lewis.
More than 24 performances with 80 plus participants from all over the UAE have been invited to compete at what is one of the largest dance competitions in the country. The competition will reveal the talents of these dancers in the Indian and international style dances.
The competition will be divided into four different segments, ranging from solo and group dances for students, the choreographer challenge, jury awards and the judges choice awards. The participants will be evaluated by a recognized jury on the basis of a special scoring system developed for the competition.
“We feel very fortunate to be able to host the competition in Dubai,” stated Padma Ramachandran, co-founder at Strikers Dance.
“Hosting the competition on such a large scale has taught our team members how to successfully run a very entertaining and professionally managed event, one that I am confident will be well-worth attending,” she added.
Terrence Lewis said: “Dancing as we all know continues to enjoy a growing public interest in the UAE. This competition will provide an excellent opportunity for the public to watch and experience the excitement of a live dance show.” – TradeArabia News Service
