GPIC takes part in GCC petroleum media forum

MANAMA, March 25, 2015

The Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) took part in the second Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) Petroleum Media Forum in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh.

The three-day event, on the theme, 'GCC Petroleum Media - Topics and Challenges', was held under the auspices of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Saudi Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Ali Al Naimi opened the forum at the King Faisal Conference Hall of the Intercontinental Hotel.

The forum programme included honouring prominent media personalities as well as sponsors, which included several of the GCC's top companies.

Al Naimi visited the Bahrain pavilion on the sidelines of the event, where he was greeted by Energy Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza, accompanied by Oil and Gas Holding Company chief executive Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and National Oil and Gas Authority secretary-general Dr Ahmed Al Sharayan. - TradeArabia News Service
