Dubai Customs launches ‘Mission & Commitment’ book

DUBAI, December 23, 2014

Dubai Customs has launched its ‘Dubai Customs: Mission & Commitment’ book at a ceremony in the emirate recently.

It was attended by Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, director of Dubai Customs, a host of government directors and officials, the media and Dubai Customs’ customers, said a statement.

Khalil Saqer bin Gharib, director of Corporate Communication, Dubai Customs, said that the book is aimed at spreading the culture of customs work among those who are involved in the field and those who are not.

It highlights the mission of Dubai Customs and its commitment, being the emirate’s first line of defence and protective shield against smugglers.

It also addresses Dubai Customs role in enhancing economic growth in the UAE and facilitating legitimate international trade movement.

On the sidelines of the book launch ceremony, Dubai Customs honoured eminent Emirati culture pioneers, in appreciation of the role they played- and still playing- in the country’s prosperity and to their contribution to the enriching and development of the Emirati culture.

The book will be available in a digital format on the Dubai Customs website to reach as many customers and interested people as possible. - TradeArabia News Service
