Social media agency 1000heads opens MEA office

London, June 16, 2014

Social Communications agency 1000heads said it has opened its headquarters for the Middle East and Africa region in Dubai as part of its global expansion plans.

1000heads, the Word of Mouth People, is a leader in the social space, working with brands such as Skype, Nokia, Benefit Cosmetics and Adobe.

In 2013 1000heads was named as the most awarded social communications agency by The Drum magazine.

The multi-award winning agency's regional base will service existing and new clients across the MEA region.

Sitting alongside offices in London, New York, Sydney and Berlin, the newest opening augments 1000heads' international network of round-the-clock support for its global client base.

The company will provide services throughout MEA, delivered by dedicated teams already working in 16 countries including the UAE, Egypt, Qatar, South Africa and Kuwait.

The launch builds on five years' experience of operating in the region and will utilise a global/local model, with on-the-ground growth backed up by the experience and expertise of the London HQ.

The company has been helping brands to be more social, to talk to people, and to be talked about by people, and has worked with some of the world's best businesses (Skype, P&G, the BBC, Nokia, Adobe, Pedigree, Canon, Miele)

The agency now has a 120-strong team of talented people who bring social communication to life for brands around the world.

The new Dubai office, based at the HDS Business Tower in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), will be overseen by regional director Matthew Rowe.

"Our expertise makes us uniquely placed to help current and future clients maximise the huge potential of social communications in this part of the world. We've done lots of great work for lots of great clients and I'm excited about bringing our 14 years' experience here," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
