The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) has signed up as the main sponsor for the 'Fourth Annual Business Quiz Show' to be held this year.

The organisers FinMark Communications said the event will be held in November and December ahead of the Kingdom’s National Day celebrations.

The show aims to foster greater engagement between Bahrain’s business community and the public as well as to highlight the key companies and industry sectors, which have long made the Kingdom of Bahrain a leading financial and business hub in the region.

The Bahrain Development Bank (BDB) Group has signed up as the event’s strategic partner.

Announcing the sponsorship, Hisham Abu Alfateh, the head of Marketing & Communication at BIBF, said, “As an organisation whose vision dictates the provision of quality education and training solutions across all business sectors, through the creation of value and thought leadership, we are pleased to come on board as the main sponsor of the Business Quiz Show."

"Our agreement with FinMark is signed for the next three years and we look forward to working with them to further enhance the show, creating a dynamic showcase for the Kingdom," he added.

Sheikh Hesham bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, the deputy general manager at BDB Group, said, “We are looking forward to joining FinMark and BIBF to help promote awareness of Bahrain's strong and thriving private sector."

Zahraa Taher, the managing director of FinMark, said, “After the success of the quiz show for the past three years, we are delighted to announce this year's event and our new partners BIBF and BDB. Four consecutive quiz nights will be held where four teams from the same industry will compete against one another in front of hundreds of viewers who will be watching the event live. Industry nights will include Banking & Finance, Insurance, Industrial and General.

The Grand Finale will see the four winning teams, representing their respective industries, compete for the top honour.
