Dubai gallery to feature Mideast art expo

Opera Gallery, one of the world’s leading contemporary art galleries, will present a unique collection of modern and contemporary works from the Middle East at an art event in Dubai.

Located in DIFC, the Opera Gallery will feature “The Greater Middle East Unveiled” from April 24 to May 6.

Artists are carefully selected from different countries and cities and will unveil their work on a wide spectrum of media like the traditional oil on canvas, car paint on cardboard, including unique sculptural and photographic works.

Annamaria Bersani, gallery manager of Opera Gallery – DIFC, said: “In recent years, there has been a growing interest in Modern and Contemporary Art in the Middle East, since the regions’ vibrant and eclectic scene influenced a new generation of creative artists. Opera Gallery is committed to provide exceptional art from both local and global artists and with this exhibit we aim to cater to our clientele some of the most sought-after artworks from the region.”

The exhibition will feature artworks from some well-known artists and curators like Yousef Ahmad, Arzu Akgun, Samira Alikhanzadeh, Mahi Binebine, Vahid Danaeifar, Morteza Darehbaghi and Reza Derakshani, among others.

The Gallery exhibits high-end contemporary paintings, photography, furniture, sculpture as well as early modern masters and nineteenth Century pieces from around the world throughout the year. – TradeArabia News Service
