Bahrain extends Eid Al Fitr greetings

Bahrain's Cabinet has extended Eid Al Fitr greetings to His Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. 
 
Chaired by Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the session wished the people of Bahrain as well as the Arab and Islamic nations security, stability, prosperity and unity, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
 
It stressed the importance of Ramadan and Eid as a source of inspiration to disseminate fraternity, amenity and communication and cultivate all that achieves unity and brings people together.
 
Separately, the Industry and Commerce Ministry said it is co-ordinating with the Bahrain Livestock Company to meet market demand for meat, poultry, flour and other staples during Eid.
 
It also stressed the role of consumer awareness in fighting fraud, monopoly and tampering with subsidised prices. The ministry also urged them to report to the consumer protection directorate. - TradeArabia News Service
