Bahrain has banned other GCC nationals from engaging in various business activities in the kingdom, according to a report in the Gulf Daily News, our sister newspaper.
His Majesty King Hamad of Bahrain has issued an order amending a law regulating business activities of GCC nationals, it said.
The amended law forbids them from various sectors including pilgrimage and Umrah services, manpower agencies, trade dealerships, real estate services and leasing of land and buildings, the report said.
They are not allowed to set up printing and publishing firms, launch newspapers and magazines. It also bans them from running special care houses and rehabilitation facilities for disabled, special homes for the elderly and social service centres. – TradeArabia News Service
