New centre of excellence in data science, AI planned in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA) and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) have signed a strategic partnership agreement, with the aim of establishing a centre of excellence in data science and artificial intelligence.
This came on the sidelines of the "Global AI Summit" in Riyadh, which is organised by the SDAIA. The event will run till September 15, said a Saudi Press Agency report.
