Since 2015, the number of deals across MENA countries has increased YOY, including more than 200 transactions that took place in 2019 alone.  Investera believes this presents a sizeable number of untapped investment opportunities, especially as the report finds that investors are seemingly risk-averse, which makes early-stage funding a less appealing option for many.
