Citrix enhances EMEA leadership team

DUBAI, February 26, 2019

Citrix, a leader in and analytics solutions, has announced adjustments to its EMEA leadership team that will enable the company to better support customer and partner needs across the region.

Eric Kline becomes chief operating officer (COO) EMEA, Lee Hughes takes the role of vice president Networking EMEA, while Daren Finney replaces Eric Kline as vice president partner EMEA.

In his new role as COO EMEA Eric Kline will be responsible for digital sales, renewals, marketing, and go-to-market functions. He joined Citrix in February 2000, holding a series of US-based management roles until moving to Europe in 2012 where he took responsibility for the Professional Services business across the region.

In 2014, he became area vice president for Western and Southern Europe, and since 2018 he was leading the EMEA Partner organization as vice president Partner Sales. Kline is based in Amsterdam and reports to Sherif Seddik, senior vice president and managing director EMEA at Citrix.

Daren Finney replaces Eric Kline as Vice President Partner Sales EMEA and becomes responsible for strengthening the company’s commitment to its EMEA partners, and their long-term success and profitability. Finney joined Citrix in 2017 as senior director, Distribution & Mid Market EMEA. Before this, he was the global head of distribution at Veritas.

Daren Finney has over 25-years of channel experience around the world and has lived in various locations across EMEA and Asia. Based in the UK, he reports to Craig Stilwell, vice president, Worldwide Partner Sales at Citrix.

With a company-wide vision for Hybrid Multi-Cloud, alongside Intelligent Workspace and Analytics, Networking plays a key role for Citrix. Lee Hughes takes responsibility for the newly-centralized Networking business in EMEA.

He joined Citrix in January 2018 as managing director of EMEA Professional Services. Prior to joining Citrix, he held several channel, services, and sales leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Computacenter. He is based in London and reports to Sherif Seddik.

Sherif Seddik, senior vice president and managing director EMEA at Citrix, said: “Cloud complexity – and adjusting to the related new processes and business models – is a challenge to partner and customer businesses alike.

“By taking a more focused approach on our sales execution, partner enablement, and developing our Networking business puts Citrix in the best position to drive cloud transformation and all the benefits it brings. I’m pleased to have such talented people at Citrix to fill these kinds of roles internally, allowing the company to deliver what our customers need as fast as possible.” – TradeArabia News Service
