Ericsson's Rafiah Ibrahim named Female CEO of the Year

DUBAI, September 13, 2017

Ericsson's Middle East & Africa president, Rafiah Ibrahim, has been awarded as the 'Female CEO of the Year' by the CEO Middle East.

Ibrahim was recognised for her exceptional efforts with Ericsson over the last year and her contributions over the years to the ICT industry in the region.

Ibrahim has a long history as a passionate female leader in technologies and services that deliver value to customers and enable positive change on people and society.  She thrives on building high performance teams and delivering strong execution, said a statement.

She has more than 36 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, particularly in networks and digital services and in many areas such as sales, industry transformation and customer relations.  
Ibrahim has been the president of Ericsson Middle East & Africa since August 1, 2014 and serves as a member of Ericsson’s Global Executive Team.

She graduated from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, UK, with a Master’s degree in Digital Communication Engineering. - TradeArabia News Service
