Batelco, as Bahrain’s leading digital communications provider, is fully committed to the delivery of high speed broadband services for consumers and businesses in line with the aspirations of the kingdom’s government, said Batelco chairman Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

“Batelco is supporting the project to establish the National Broadband Network using fibre technology, with the aim to provide internet access speeds of not less than 100 Mbps for up to 95 per cent of homes in Bahrain and speeds of 1 Gbps for all government and businesses entities,” he said.

“This is in line with the Government of Bahrain’s 4th National Telecom plan under the directive of the kingdom’s leadership,” added Shaikh Mohamed. - TradeArabia News Service
