Al Ain Mall to provide free wi-fi

ABU DHABI, April 2, 2017

Visitors to Al Ain Mall in Al Ain, UAE, will have free and easy access to the internet through services provided by WiFi UAE starting this month.

The service offers two options: free WiFi UAE and WiFi UAE Premium, an affordable paid service that allows users unrestricted upload and download speed.

All visitors to Al Ain Mall can avail the free public wi-fi through logging on to the service using any UAE mobile number and choose between the two options, for instant access to high speed Internet to browse, chat, and stream videos, it said.

Speaking of the success of the rollout, Jihad Tayara, vice president business development and partnerships, du, said: “We are pleased to spread happiness through innovation and connectivity throughout the UAE by rolling out free wi-fi access for all – regardless of their mobile service provider.”

“Today’s rollout marks an important step in our quest to support the UAE government in achieving country-wide wi-fi access in line with Vision 2021,” he said.

Mohammed Al Hawamdeh, marketing manager, Al Ain Mall, said: “We are always looking at how we can improve and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.”

“By partnering with WiFi UAE to provide wi-fi to all of our customers, we believe visitors to Al Ain Mall will reap great value from this association. Our visitors will be able to enjoy complete the service during their mall experience,” he added.

Expanding its footprint to enhance happiness through connectivity, WiFi UAE has seen users throughout the UAE take advantage of its public WiFi offering, as the service celebrated a milestone 1.3 million sessions in October.
