SAP sponsors digital transformation event

DUBAI, January 4, 2017

SAP will participate in the second edition of the CDO Conclave, an event with a focus on the importance of digital transformation and how the chief digital officer (CDO) can help an organisation achieve digitisation.

SAP will participate as a networking sponsor in the event, scheduled for March 15 and 16 in Dubai, UAE.

The event, organised by UMS Conferences, will provide the vital insights and information required for an organisation to formulate an effective digital strategy.

“Digital transformation across Mena has reached a tipping point, where organizations from the public and private sectors need to partner now in order to succeed in the era of networked economies, Internet of Things and machine learning, otherwise risk the challenge of becoming obsolete over the next few years. Chief Digital Officers are well positioned to be the drivers in guiding Middle East organizations through their digital transformation journeys, especially in the high-growth sectors of Smart Cities, sports, healthcare, and education,” said Tayfun Topkoc, managing director, SAP UAE.

The CDO Conclave will bring together numerous industry experts and tech gurus to help organisations navigate their digital journey and think like a CDO. It will enable participants to form an effective digitisation plan and align it with current capabilities.

It will include sessions by industry leaders such as Matthew Horobin, head of Digital, Dubai Airports, UAE; Bhanu Shekhar, chief digital officer, GE, UAE and Carlos Domingo, Chief business & innovation officer, Du Telecom, UAE.

The event will also feature the Digital Excellence Awards, which are aimed at honouring the visionaries in the region who understood the changing dynamics and led their organisations in their quest for digital transformation. – TradeArabia News Service
