Juniper Networks appoints new MEA manager

US-based Juniper Networks, an industry leader in automated, scalable and secure networks, has appointed Hatem Hariri as its general manager for Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

In his new role, Hariri will be responsible for all aspects of sales strategy, planning and operations across the company’s entire MEA business, said a statement from Juniper.

Hariri brings 20 years of technical, sales and senior business management experience in telecommunications to this role at Juniper, having worked with technology vendors, including Avaya and Nortel across the MEA region and globally.

Moreover, his experience covers the telecommunications and diverse vertical enterprise sectors, including government, oil and gas, education, hospitality, banking and small-medium businesses.

Speaking on his appointment, Hariri said: “Juniper has a first-class routing, switching, data centre and security portfolio, plus an extremely strong position in software-defined networking.”

“I look forward to working diligently with Juniper sales, technical engineering and partner teams across this region to help our customers build innovative networks that can drive their business success for the long term,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
