UAE-based telecom provider du said one of its senior officials, Ismail Mohammed, has been honoured with a top industry award by the Middle East Excellence Awards Institute, in Dubai, UAE.

The awards ceremony is held every year to recognise the achievements and activities of young leaders of the future and harness the strategic concepts of leadership and career empowerment.

Ismail Mohammed, senior vice president - customer operations at du, won the “Service Sector Leadership Excellence Award” following his nomination by a special jury comprising a group of experts and specialists in the institute.

Commenting on the win, Mohammed said: "We are immensely proud to receive this award, which is testament to our commitment to excellence."
