InfiNet opens new operations unit in Russia

DUBAI, May 10, 2016

InfiNet Wireless, the global leader in fixed broadband wireless connectivity for Internet service providers, recently announced the opening of its new state-of-the-art production facility in Ekaterinburg, Russia.

This expansion enables the company to better serve rapidly growing markets across the globe such as the Middle East.

“Over the last couple of years, we have seen significant demand for our products, especially from enterprises of all types in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE, Saudi, Jordan and Oman markets,” said Kamal Mokrani, global vice president, InfiNet Wireless.

“Recent implementations with customers such as du in the UAE and the Makkah Municipality in Saudi have contributed to InfiNet Wireless’ business in the Middle East growing at an average rate of 35 per cent year-on-year over the past three years alone. This was the key driver behind our investment into this brand new production facility.”

The move will allow the company to almost double its production capacity and implement enhanced quality assurance testing for all its wireless products. It will also see the company’s cutting-edge R&D and technical support capabilities grow by up to two-and-half times.

InfiNet Wireless is a high-technology company which has always prided itself on innovation and on being a leader for research and development in the wireless world. The R&D team accounts for a third of the total number of employees in the company and continues to grow steadily year-on-year, and becoming highly specialized in hardware and RF design, mechanical design and embedded software development.

Demand continues to be driven by InfiNet Wireless’ latest leading InfiLINK XG product range - the best spectral efficient solution available today in the marketplace - which has already been deployed in over 30 countries globally.  As mobile operators scale their deployment of 4G and LTE, they are consistently looking for increased capacity, lower latency, greater distance coverage and high performance, all of which the XG product has been able to deliver successfully.

“Since its foundation, the company has grown significantly, both in terms of headcount and capacity of production, with our brand and products now being recognized globally as a benchmark for all other vendors,” said Dmitry Okorokov, CEO, InfiNet Wireless.

“I am confident that even after more than 20 years of working in the industry, we will stay at the cutting-edge of wireless technologies for many years to come and will keep providing the market with our best-in-class wireless solutions in PTP and PMP mods, and across various frequency bands. For us this is just the beginning.” – TradeArabia News Service
