$100m Bahraini fund for first cloud accelerator in Mena

A $100 million allied venture capital fund based in Bahrain will work as the first cloud technology accelerator in the Middle East and Africa (Mena) region, it has emerged. Known as the Gulf Technology Corporation, the fund will be managed by C5 Accelerate, the London- and Bahrain-based technology investment specialist, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
