Intel education programs and solutions consist of a holistic approach including the adapted material, personalised software content and professional development for teachers.

Nassir Nauthoa, the general manager at Intel Corporation - Gulf Countries said all these tools aim at placing students at the center of the learning process and accelerating adoption of 21st century skills such as technology literacy, problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration and team work needed to succeed in a knowledge based economy.

"The right education experience can have a dramatic effect on students, inspiring them to become the dreamers and doers of tomorrow," he noted.

"In the last decade Intel has made significant efforts to reach out to education professionals in an effort to transform the education experience, and we look forward to continuing that effort with likeminded partners such as Etisalat," he added.

Al Shamsi said Etisalat was engaged in this context to scale its education solutions – in the countries it is operating in; evaluating, hosting and offering various education services to customers deploying education solutions, for both national deployments and private schools and work with its partners to address opportunities in different countries through providing advanced integrated solutions.

The collaboration will also see both companies working towards deploying cloud-based education services to be promoted to the education sector in the region, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
