Doha, August 17, 2014

Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications provider, has signed a three-year deal with InterContinental Hotels Group Qatar.

The contract will ensure that the company provides high-speed fibre internet throughout the group’s three popular hotels in Doha: InterContinental Doha, InterContinental Doha-The City and Crown Plaza Doha-The Business Park, a statement said.

The agreement also outlined Ooredoo’s role in distributing entertainment access to the hotels, with Mozaic TV to be installed in over 1,200 rooms throughout the three properties, it said.

Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, director community and public relations, Ooredoo, said: “As we prepare for more visitors ahead of the 2022 Fifa World Cup, we are dedicated to providing the best user experience to our guests. Whether through internet, entertainment or mobile phones, via personal use or a third party such as the InterContinental Hotels Group, we want the world to be connected to Qatar and Qatar to the world.” – TradeArabia News Service
