SAP Mena appoints new country manager

Muscat, March 20, 2014

SAP Mena has appointed Rami Amkieh as the country manager for its operations in Oman, Bahrain, Pakistan and Yemen.
 
Amkieh will report to Gergi Abboud, managing director for Gulf and Pakistan.
 
In his new role, Amkieh will be responsible for driving all aspects of SAP’s business operations, including building on the company’s customer base, building and shifting market capacity, fostering a vibrant partner and ecosystem presence, increasing brand awareness, and building strategic partnerships with both the private and public sector. 
 
“Rami has made invaluable contributions to building SAP’s business in the region over the past few years, and is now set to play an even more significant role as we step up our operations in Oman, Bahrain, Pakistan and Yemen,” said Abboud.
 
Amkieh will play a central role at the forthcoming SAP Forum in Muscat, Oman, on February 24. 
 
The event will set forth SAP’s latest innovations, and features keynotes from SAP and its customers, panel sessions and technology demonstrations, with big data, cloud solutions and analytics set to feature strongly.  - TradeArabia News Service
