Huawei unveils HD videoconferencing system

Dubai, January 6, 2014

Leading ICT solutions provider Huawei has unveiled an all-in-one high definition (HD) videoconferencing system during a local roadshow event in Saudi Arabia and across the Middle East.

The Huawei TE30 solution is aimed at boosting office and employee productivity across organisations in the kingdom, with the ability to create more natural face-to-face communication environments, said a statement.

It integrates voice, data and video applications to be used in various work scenarios for collaborative conferencing, remote training, and other office functions. It also supports voice dialing, it said.

“With a design that takes minutes to set up, Huawei is leading the way forward in enterprise video communication, providing users with greater convenience and an improved quality of video experience that requires very low bandwidth to operate,” said Shi Xiaohua, general manager of Huawei Enterprise Saudi Arabia.

The use of technologies such as unified communications and machine-to-machine solutions are expected to gain prominence in the IT industry in 2014, according to latest forecasts from market intelligence firm IDC.

Gulf Application showcased the system while introducing its promotions for its channel partners at the official launch.

Yasmin Adem, marketing manager at Gulf Application, said: “The demand for more compact, unified communication solutions is growing requirement of businesses throughout the kingdom today.

“With our partner Huawei, we are keen on delivering on innovations that can ultimately help organizations optimize their daily interactions between their employees, partners and customers.” - TradeArabia News Service
