Mobily, in collaboration with IBM, has recently launched an innovative managed security services (MSS) portfolio for all international Telecom Operators and Data Service Providers.

Managed Security Service portfolio is mainly directed to international telecom operators for their own use as well as reselling purposes at their countries, after mobily has supported its infrastructure with the best national and international secure/redundant fiber optic networks, said a statement from the Saudi company.
 
Managed Security Services portfolio is aimed to defend against external/internal threats and regulatory compliance with an efficient CapEx and OpEx investment required by international telecom operators, according to Mobily.

Managed Security Services portfolio covers; managed and monitored firewall service, Managed Intrusion Protection System (IPS) and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) services, Managed Unified Threat Management (UTM) services, Hosted vulnerability management services, Hosted security event and log management services, Web and E-mail Security.

Mobily said with this, International end customers have the privilege to access Virtual Security Operation Center remotely, which provides real-time 24x7x365 accurate security event identification, incident escalation and remediation.

Mobily MD and CEO Khalid Al Kaf said Mobily has now become more than a mobile service provider as it is a comprehensive telecom and IT service provider inclusive information security services for its customers from private sectors, public sectors, and International telecom operators.
