Etisalat launches new data roaming offers

Etisalat, one of the leading telecom operators in the Middle East and Africa, has announced attractive new data roaming packages for its mobile customers, which offers as much as five times the usage for half the price.

The new packages comes in three varieties; daily 25MB for Dh25 ($6.8), daily 100MB for Dh35, and weekly 1GB of data for Dh200. Customers can use these packages for any type of data consumption and with any handset or tablet, including all Blackberry devices. Each of the packages starts from the first instance of internet access outside the UAE.

Etisalat has also increased the number of preferred partners through which the new offers are valid to 143 networks in 70 countries, covering most major travel destinations.

Khaled El Khouly, chief marketing officer, Etisalat, said: “We are happy to have been able to negotiate improved deals with network partners abroad that enable us to pass on further discounts to our customers.”
