Dubai, March 28, 2013

Samena Telecommunications Council, the tri-regional non-profit telecommunications association, has announced three new additions to its growing member base.

Bocar A BA, CEO of Samena Telecommunications Council said: “If the development, growth and performance of the regional telecommunications industry in the last decade were exciting, as we head towards 2020 the best and most challenging times are yet to come.”

“Accelerating economic growth through widespread adoption of digitization is a very important topic and high on the agenda of most if not all industry stakeholders and national governments. Samena Council has assumed a leadership role in driving this initiative, which will immensely benefit our member base.

“Hence I am glad to welcome our three new members onboard and hope to work closely with them to further improve our value proposition and the corresponding impact on the regional telecoms industry and the economy at large,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
