12 hurt as car runs into pedestrians in Melbourne
MELBOURNE, December 21, 2017
A dozen people were injured when a car ran into pedestrians outside Melbourne's Flinders Street train station, reports said.
The white 4WD car drove through a group of pedestrians before crashing into a tram stop, said an ABC News report.
Police have arrested the driver and paramedics are treating the injured, which included a preschool-aged child, the report said.
A witness described seeing an SUV travelling "at high speed" and "hitting people".
