Obama to hold talks with King Salman
RIYADH, January 27, 2015
Saudi Arabia's King Salman will hold talks with US President Barack Obama on major regional and international issues in RIyadh today (January 27), a Royal Court statement said.
“The talks will also focus on prospects of expanding bilateral ties,” an Arab News report quoting the statement said.
President Obama arrives in Saudi Arabia cutting short his visit to India.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest had earlier said Obama would meet with King Salman and other officials to “offer his condolences on behalf of the American people” on the death of King Abdullah.
