Tdafoq seals distribution agreement with India’s Delectrik Systems

Saudi-based Tdafoq Energy said it has entered into a distribution and manufacturing licence agreement with Delectrik Systems, a leading maufacturer of sustainable energy storage systems based in Gurgaon, India.
Tdafoq Energy is a major industrial group that provides sustainable, clean and affordable energy systems to businesses and individuals across the kingdom.
As per the deal, it will exclusively sell Delectrik's Vanadium Redox Flow Battery products manufactured at its Indian factory in the Gulf countries.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Delectrik Founder & CEO Vishal Mittal (left) with Tdafoq Founder Hajed Mohammad Hashan, it stated.
On the strategic partnership, Tdafoq Energy said with this it aims to become a global technology leader in the fast-growing stationary energy storage segment, supporting the Kingdom's Vision 2030 economic diversification objectives.
As part of the deal, Tdafoq is setting up a local Flow Battery manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia which will serve the Gulf region. The production capacity at the facility will be scaled to a GWh capacity by 2025.
Delectrik's products are based on patented stack and system design using a proven and mature Vanadium Redox Flow Battery chemistry.
The company manufactures RFB10, RFB40 and RFB200 series of Vanadium Flow Batteries with 10 kWh, 40 kWh and 200 kWh capacity respectively, said a company spokesman.
"These systems are building blocks which can be connected to build even large systems of 100s of MWh. They are mainly designed for use in residential, commercial, industrial and grid scale stationary Energy Storage applications," he stated.
A major player in the global scene, Delectrik is commercially selling these products in several big markets including US, Australia, Western Europe, Middle East and India.-TradeArabia News Service
