Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) is showcasing its wide-ranging line-up of cutting-edge military and defence systems and solutions at the ongoing Defense and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2019, being held in London, UK.

DSEI is a leading event that connects governments, national armed forces, industry thought leaders and the global defence and security supply chain. It opened yesterday (September 10) and will run until September 13, at the ExCeL London.

As part of its participation, SAMI is showcasing solutions spanning the company’s five business divisions, namely aeronautics, land systems, naval systems, weapons and missiles, and defence electronics, said a statement.

During the four-day exhibition, the company will explore new opportunities to build industry partnerships in line with its vision to develop new technologies locally, attract foreign investment to the Kingdom, and create employment opportunities in the country.

Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) and SAMI Navantia Naval Industries (SAMI-Navantia), affiliated to SAMI, are also taking part in the international arms fair under SAMI’s umbrella.

Ahmed Al-Khateeb, chairman of SAMI, Dr Andreas Schwer, CEO of SAMI, a number of the company’s executive management members, and officials from international companies visited SAMI’s booth on the first day of the most anticipated event in the industry.
