Paramount Doors, one of the leading manufacturers of roll-up doors in Bahrain and importer of quality automatic doors and associated components, has returned to the Gulf Construction Expo in Bahrain for the sixth consecutive year.

“We think it is the best show in Bahrain due to the type of visitors it attracts; it is well organised, and systematic, offers convenient timing and good facilities which will attract people to come this year as well as next,” said Aziz Jawad, managing director of Paramount Doors, adding that the company has received enquiries and is hopeful of clinching orders.

Commenting on this year’s event, he said while he noticed that there were fewer exhibitors, the quality of participants was better.

On display at its impressive stand are full-scale models of a number of its door products, giving visitors a first-hand experience of the functionality and aesthetics of these innovations.

Paramount Doors has the biggest factory of its kind in Bahrain, spread over 2,000-sq-m. The facility manufactures rolling shutter doors and heavy-duty doors, while also assembling a variety of doors. The company uses advanced machinery to fabricate its doors to ensure they meet high-quality standards.
Jawad admitted that the market conditions are not in good shape, however, companies need to be proactive to secure business. He pointed out that at such times it is the companies that offer the best quality products that will survive.

One of its largest orders last year was for 800 villas at Diyar Al Muharraq, under a subcontract from Ahmed Mansour Al A’ali (AMA). The fast-track project required Paramount Doors to deliver and install its order within a one-and-a-half month period.

Among the most impressive orders it has signed to date this year is for the Bahrain International Circuit (Formula One), under which Paramount Doors is responsible for the general maintenance of moveable components such as doors and barriers for a three-year period, said Jawad.

Some of the innovative products in its portfolio that Paramount Doors is showcasing at the Gulf Construction Show are Compact Doors, grey doors – which are latest-fashion sectional overhead doors – from Italpannelli of Italy, and fast-action doors.
