Dubai will host the 10th edition of Shiptek 2019 International Conference and Shiptek International Maritime/Offshore/Oil& Gas Awards in April.

The event will take place on April 16 and 17 at Dusit Thani Hotel.

ShipTek 2019 is set to mark its legacy as a benchmark event in the maritime industry, said a statement from the organisers.

The event promises to offer advanced presentations on marine engineering, offshore technology, engineering and communication and naval architecture sectors.

Along with the much-appreciated conference, the event will also have the award ceremony where industry veterans who have been instrumental in proposing creative solutions will be honoured for their accomplishments.

Aimed at key decision-makers within the marine/offshore/oil and gas sector, the event takes place at a time when there is growing optimism about the future of many sectors of the regional shipping business, the statement said.
