Dubai Chamber hosts Saudi delegation

DUBAI, November 16, 2018

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently hosted a high-level delegation from Saudi Arabia and highlighted prospects for strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two sides, as well as investment opportunities in Dubai and other matters of mutual interest.

The Saudi delegation included the chairman and board members from the kingdom’s Asharqia Chamber (the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry), said a statement from the organisation.

The meeting, held at Dubai Chamber’s premises, highlighted prospects for strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two chambers, as well as investment opportunities in Dubai and other matters of mutual interest, it said.

The 19-member delegation was received by Majid Saif Al Ghurair, chairman of Dubai Chamber, and headed by Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al Ammar Al Khalidi, chairman of Asharqia Chamber.

Al Ghurair described the meeting as constructive and noted that several avenues of cooperation were explored by representatives from both chambers, adding that such efforts would help build on the strong trade links that the UAE and Saudi Arabia already enjoy.

In addition, Al Ghurair briefed the delegation on Dubai Chamber’s international expansion strategy and best practices implemented by the chamber’s various departments, as well as the wide variety of smart services that it provides to the business community in Dubai. – TradeArabia News Service
