UAE-based Ducab, a leading manufacturer of high-quality cables and cabling products owned equally by Abu Dhabi’s Senaat and by Investment Corporation Dubai (ICD), celebrated the UAE’s 46th National Day at its headquarters in Jebel Ali, Dubai.

The celebrations took place in the presence of the company’s senior management and employees, commencing with a keynote delivered by Ducab board member, Khaled Nasser Lootah, said a statement.

Lootah expressed his sincerest congratulations to HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates on the occasion of the anniversary of the union, it said.

He expressed Ducab’s pride in the remarkable achievements of the nation, and the wisdom of good leadership, it added.

Ducab's National Day celebrations also included several cultural activities and traditional performances that reflect the UAE’s history.

Lootah said: “The Union of the UAE is the cornerstone of the achievements we are all proud of today, and which would not have been achieved during this period of time, which is short in the age of nations, without the strong vision and efforts of our country’s wise leadership and the unity of its people.”

“We are happy to celebrate together on this day, embodying the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, founder of the country, to unite the people and establish the UAE,” he added.

Mona Mohamed Fekri, Ducab general manager, human resources, said: “The National Day is a special moment for locals and expats alike.”
