Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, has promoted Faeq Abdulrahim to the position of manager strategic supply and planning.

Abdulrahim joined Alba in July 2011 as a business unit controller with the financial accounting and controlling department.

He was appointed as head of supply of major raw materials in June 2016 followed by acting manager of strategic supply and planning in December 2016.

Abdulrahim holds a B Sc in finance and accounting from Boston College, US, and an MBA from Vanderbilt University, US. He is also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society.

Alba’s chief executive officer Tim Murray, said: “Our company takes great pride in promoting talented Bahraini professionals to decision-making roles.

“Abdulrahim has excellent skills in procurement and contract management and has been delivering exceptional results,” he said.
