A-Map, Al Serkal join hands to expand retail networks

DUBAI, May 7, 2017

Dubai-based Al-Muqarram Auto Spare Parts Trading (A-Map), a leading distributor of automotive products, has developed a business relationship with Nasser Bin Abdul Latif Al Serkal Est., aimed at expanding retail networks and enhancing market visibility.

Boosted by this partnership A-MAP establishes its position as an integral part of the Al Serkal’s current retail expansion across the UAE, said a statement from the company.

Simultaneously A-MAP will play a key role in enhancing the sale of its Solite brand of batteries and serve the UAE’s growing customer base more efficiently, it said.

A-MAP is one of the largest distributors of automotive products in the region and attributes its success to reliable brands, top class service personnel and ready availability of goods, supported by a reliable distribution network. Located in the heart of Dubai’s main business trading hub, the company presently operates a network of branches in Qatar, China, South Africa and USA.

Asad Badami, managing director of A-MAP, said: “We are happy to be consolidating our relationship with Nasser Bin Abdul Latif Al Serkal Est. Our two companies have a strong strategic fit which will only help to leverage our respective brands.”

“Al Serkal is looking to expand its retail network by another 3 outlets by mid- 2017, adding to the current 12 locations. As a result, it will give our brands wider reach and maximise market penetration. We are presently working on further initiatives for closer collaboration,” he said.

Al Serkal is well-known in the UAE for its extensive chain of First Stop and Quick Pit outlets. This gives A-MAP the opportunity to capitalise on Al Serkal’s strong market presence in the organised retail sector and gain wider exposure for Solite Batteries and other brands, said a statement.

Al Serkal’s marketing and CSR manager Babar Naseem, said: “In A- MAP we have found a partner that demonstrates the qualities of trust, integrity, professionalism and ambition.”

“Our partnership with them serves to improve our market visibility and generate additional sales. Through this collaboration we are hopeful of improving our battery sales and give customers the complete range which Solite offers. Working with A-Map has been productive and they share our belief that customer satisfaction is at the heart of our success,” he added.

The new partnership with Nasser Bin Abdul Latif Al Serkal Est. underlines A-MAP’s range of initiatives with other partners in the automobile trade, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
