ARTS Energy to showcase new batteries at WFES

ABU DHABI, December 28, 2016

France-based ARTS Energy, a leading battery manufacturer, will be presenting its new generation of nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries for professional autonomous solar energy solutions and backup applications at an upcoming event in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The company will be showcasing its latest developments at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) and International Water Summit (IWS) trade fair, as part of the Business France Pavilion, from January 16 to 19.

ARTS Energy's latest generation of Ni-MH batteries are exceptionally robust in very warm environments (up to 85°C) and boast a 10-year lifetime when used in outdoor applications in the Middle East, said a statement.

They are particularly well suited to autonomous solar applications in the Middle East (solar street lights, road and urban signage, etc.), which are very demanding, it said.

But this new generation of batteries also performs extremely well in backup applications (telecoms), as well as applications involving a high number of cycles (daily battery use to reduce main grid electricity bills), it added.

The company specialises in safety lighting, professional electronics, solar power, the medical field and a host of other applications for major OEM suppliers.

The company manufactures its high-quality Ni-MH products in-house, for high-temperature and deep cycle applications. It also develops and produces lithium-ion batteries featuring power management and protection electronics, in partnership with highly reputed Japanese suppliers such as Panasonic and Sony, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
