Caltex launches premium diesel engine oil at Big 5

DUBAI, November 21, 2016

Caltex is showcasing its latest premium diesel engine oil specially designed to meet the GCC and Middle East market requirements, during its participation at the ongoing Big 5 exhibition in Dubai, UAE.

The event which kicked off today (November 21) will run until November 24, at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The engine oil – Caltex Delo 400 MGX SAE 15W-40, is a formulation which constitutes a higher specification, said a statement from the company.

Operating in the UAE for more than 35 years, Chevron Al Khalij markets a wide range of Caltex-Delo branded lubricants across the region.

This improved formulation will benefit both new and older diesel engines, thereby helping customers to utilise just one heavy duty engine oil that operates efficiently in both high and low- sulphur diesel fuel environments, it said.

Adriaan J de Kok, area business manager, Gulf and Middle East, for Chevron Al Khalij, the registered branch name in the UAE of Chevron Asia Pacific Holdings Limited, said: “The Caltex Delo product range that we will showcase in the exhibition includes new Diesel engine oil and coolants that provide premium protection, performance and bottom-line value for on- and off-road diesel-powered equipment.”

“These products are found in all major industries such as commercial transportation, construction, mining, agriculture, and power generation. It will also provide the public with high quality technical solutions for heavy-duty vehicles powered by low sulphur diesel. Such innovation will reduce periodic maintenance fees and increase the engine’s life,” he said.

“One of the appealing benefits offered to customers is the synthetic-like performance at the cost of mineral products, which significantly reduces premium lubrication costs,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
